Peters, Gastronomy Management at WISAG in Heidenheim, reports on the experiences and positive changes that came with the implementation of VisioLab.
Michelle Peters and her team became aware of VisioLab through a visit to a trade fair, she explains: “We decided to work with VisioLab because we became aware of the company and the product at the trade fair. And we were immediately impressed by the performance, the team and everything. It was simply a better fit for us as WISAG than other providers.”
The implementation of VisioLab proved to be very efficient. The system was installed and the staff trained within a short space of time. Peters emphasised the smooth cooperation: “The implementation at the site was great. With a colleague on site who introduced the guests and staff. The support hotline is always available. Problems are solved very quickly and you always have someone nice and competent on the phone or in person.”
Positive reactions from staff and guests: Staff were enthusiastic from the outset and fully supported the introduction of the new technology. Peters explains: “The staff were completely on board from the outset and totally enthusiastic. And it’s a great way to counteract staff shortages because the checkout doesn’t have to be manned all the time.” After initial scepticism, the guests also showed a high level of acceptance. “There were also some guests who said from the outset, ‘Totally cool, digitalisation 2.0’. Some were rather sceptical at first, but after, say, a week at most, everyone was on board,” reports Peters.
The introduction of VisioLab has significantly accelerated and simplified the payment process. “The VisioLab system give us several advantages in our day-to-day operations. For one thing, the payment process is simply much faster, much smoother and even guests who don’t regularly eat at our restaurant have fewer problems paying,” says Peters. The intuitive operation of the system was quickly accepted by all guests, which led to a noticeable improvement in processes.
The introduction of the VisioLab system at WISAG in Heidenheim was a complete success. The advantages of the system have significantly increased both the efficiency and the satisfaction
of guests and staff. The fast and uncomplicated implementation as well as the continuously available support were particularly positively emphasised. Peters summarises: “I would recommend VisioLab to other restaurant managers. Simply because it simplifies the payment process, it’s another step towards digitalisation and the collaboration simply worked like a charm.”
