The original idea was to use artificial intelligence to relieve cashiers during peak hours and shorten queues.
Starting with a monitor stand, two webcams, a light bar, and a Raspberry Pi bedded in an aluminum shell, the idea was came to life for the first time.
VisioLab was able to convince the committee of the Seedhouse Accelerator for Food, Agriculture and Digital. The founding team met here for the first time.
The team quickly succeeded in winning the first relevant pilot customers, which included several student unions and large catering groups.
Once the technical feasibility had been proven and the first customers had been acquired, the team succeeded in being accepted into the Axel Springer and Porsche Accelerator.
VisioLab has succeeded in bringing Blink&Go® technology to the iPad for use at the point of sale, making it available to an international audience on the AppStore.
VisioLab succeeded in closing a seven-figure financing round with NBank Capital, a renewed investment from Axel Springer & Porsche and two other business angels.
As one of 13 startups, VisioLab was accepted to the German Accelerator to plan its market entry into the USA.
